CEDIA partners with The Training Dept. again in 2005 to
deliver education at CEDIA’s training facility
Indianapolis, Ind. –The Custom Electronic
Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) and The Training Dept.
Inc. have partnered again this fall to deliver a series of high-quality
training courses. The courses presented by The Training Dept. are held
at CEDIA’s state-of-the-art training facility in Indianapolis.
The program targets custom residential electronic systems
professionals and includes:
- Structured Cabling and Distributed Audio System Design
and Installation
Offered Oct. 11–12 and Nov. 8–9
- Residential Retrofit Installation
Offered Oct. 13–14 and Nov. 10–11
- Broadband RF System Design and Installation
Offered Oct. 25–26 and Nov. 29–30
- Home Network System Design and Installation
Offered Oct. 27–28 and Dec. 1–2
Each two-day course is designed to maximize CEDIA’s
new training facility by delivering the perfect combination of classroom
presentation, demonstrations and hands-on exercises.
“We’re pleased to offer these courses at
CEDIA’s training facility again this fall,” said Grayson
Evans, president of The Training Dept. “This interactive environment
provides a great opportunity to present courses in an extended two-day
format with hands-on experience, something everyone who has attended
the one-day and shorter versions has been requesting.”
Attendees also earn a more in-depth understanding that
isn’t possible during trade show classes, Evans said, due to
the extensive hands-on lab time.
Margaret Sheehan, CEDIA’s senior director of professional
development, said The Training Dept. has been a natural partner for
CEDIA. “Our members and professional staff will continue to benefit
significantly from this relationship,” she said.
With successful completion of a course examination given
at each class, each attendee will be presented with a certificate of
completion. All courses are $595 for two days and include all materials
and equipment, lunch and transportation to and from the headquarters
hotel. Discounts are available for multiple course registrations.
