Departing CEDIA Trade Show Director To Join The National
Systems Contractors Association While Maintaining Responsibilities
for CEDIA’s International Shows
Indianapolis, Ind. – The National Systems
Contractors Association (NSCA) announces the addition of Patty Voss
as director of trade shows.
Voss previously served in the same role for the Custom
Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) and will continue
to provide cooperative support for both organizations through her lead
role with the 2005 Integrated Systems events in Europe, Asia and China,
a partnership between CEDIA and NSCA.
A veteran trade show executive, Voss has assumed a professional
staff position with NSCA. She manages operations for NSCA’s Systems
Integration Expo®, including the event’s four technology
pavilions and accompanying education offerings, exhibitor services
and vendor relations.
“Voss and her talents will be missed. However,
we support her need to return to Iowa. We are pleased to be able to
continue to avail CEDIA of her superior skills in the trade show industry
through our international shows. CEDIA and NSCA have a history of working
together and we are glad this will continue,” said Billilynne
Keller, executive director of CEDIA.
“NSCA is pleased to be in the position of extending
Patty’s trade show expertise to the members of NSCA and the attendees
of the Systems Integration Expo. We also look forward to continuing
our strong working relationship with CEDIA,” said Chuck Wilson,
executive director of NSCA.
A graduate of Colgate University, Voss has supervised
large and small events for clients including national and international
corporate meetings, conventions, trade shows and assorted industry
functions.
In 2003, CEDIA, NSCA and the International Communications
Industries Association, Inc.‚ (ICIA/InfoComm‚) joined forces
to launch joint trade shows in Europe and China. The world’s
leading electronic systems industry trade associations partnered to
address the needs of their combined constituencies in those continents.
Following its successful launch in May 2004, Integrated
Systems China will return to China in April 2005 at the Shanghai Everbright
Convention & Exhibition Centre in Shanghai. The 2005 Integrated
Systems Europe Exhibition and Conference is scheduled for Jan. 26-28,
2005, at the RAI Centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
